• Minimize the normalized energy of resonant tank, which is given by

The reason for using the peak value rather than the instantaneous value is that the sizes of $L_r$ and $C_r$ depend on the peak current and peak voltage.

1. Select $R_n$ to minimize $E_{tank}$, so $R_n=0.1$
